To maintain server performance and analyze regional interest in breaking events, we collect minimal, non-identifiable technical data:

  • Masked IP Data: Full IP addresses are never stored. We use anonymized geolocation to understand which regions (e.g., Gulf States vs. North America) are active on the feed.
  • LocalStorage: We use your browser's local memory to save your **UI Preferences** (Dark Mode) and **Notification Status** (Support Alerts). This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
  • Node Logs: Temporary logs are used to prevent DDoS attacks and are automatically purged every 30 days.
